Weave 120 jamdani sarees on our 14 looms for Eid-ul-Fitr, sell them through Ramadan, and share the profit three months after the raise closes.
About the campaign
Eid is when every family buys a new saree, and each year we turn away boutique orders because we cannot buy enough yarn and zari at once. This raise buys one full round of yarn and pays the weavers for the six weeks it takes to weave it. Hand-woven Dhakai jamdani sarees in cotton and half-silk, Tk 4,500 to Tk 28,000.
